W-03: Assessment of Children: WISC-V AND WPPSI-IV

This workshop will cover the WISC-V and WPPSI-IV. It will consider the role of the evaluator in the assessment process and report writing. In addition, it will cover the standardization, scoring, reliability, validity, factor analysis, short forms, subtest scatter, and strengths and limitations of the WISC–V and WPPSI–IV. Other areas that will be addressed include administering the WISC–V and WPPSI–IV to children with disabilities and how to interpret these new editions. Finally, CHC theory will be covered for each of the new editions. Admission for this workshop is $138.00, which includes a copy of Dr. Sattler’s book, Assessment of Children: WISC-V and WPPSI-IV.

Jerome Sattler is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. Currently, he is Professor Emeritus and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at San Diego State University. Sattler has received numerous awards, including the Senior Scientist Award from the Division of School Psychology of the American Psychological Association, and the Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Application of Psychology from the American Psychological Foundation.
