P-24: Supporting Student Survivors of Trauma with Evidence-based Practices: Case Studies

It is the purpose of this presentation to present findings from two single-case design studies focused on mental health and academic/behavioral interventions for trauma survivors across tiers within an MTSS framework. The presenters will share the effects of Tier 2 and Tier 3 components of a CBT intervention for trauma (CBITS) and the differing effects on PTSD symptoms when used in combination with a Tier 3 academic/behavioral intervention (Check & Connect). Participants will learn how to implement, progress monitor and evaluate these or similar paired interventions at their school sites.
