8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with lunch, Synergy 1
Learn about the California Youth Connections, No Stigma No Barriers board, a project funded through the Prop. 63 Mental Health Services Act and overseen by the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission. We aim to reduce the stigma around mental health throughout California by empowering transition-aged youth with mental health experiences to receive education, training, and advocacy opportunities. Participants will learn how NSNB supports a youth-led process that encourages leadership development and community building. Youth will share their personal experiences of what support does/does not look like and how that has shaped them to be the power advocates they are today.
