How can English Language Learners (ELLs) improve their mathematical performance within diverse schools? This presentation reports the results of research that illustrates Cover, Copy, Compare (CCC) and/or combined with reinforcement can be an effective intervention. The case studies, with ELL participants, reveals what the students thought about the intervention and how it helped improve their computational fluency and accuracy. Participants will learn how and by whom CCC or CCC with reinforcement can be implemented, when could it be considered, why it may work for ELL population, and what other academic tasks it can be generalized to.
