Attendees will learn how to conduct a consultee-centered consultation case for decreasing blurt-out behavior of a seventh grade boy. The consultant and consultee went through a problem identification interview (PII), problem analysis interview (PAI), and problem evaluation interview (PEI). Through the consultation process, the consultant was able to guide the teacher (consultee) in targeting the problem behavior, collect data, implement the intervention, and monitor the student’s progress. As a result, the student decreased his frequency in blurting-out, increased his frequency in responsible behaviors, and improved his relationship with his teacher.
