This poster introduces various prevention and intervention strategies involved in overcoming the obstacles to social inclusion for students with disabilities across a multi-tiered system of supports. Participants will gain an understanding about the current evidence-based practices that exist in schools to allow students with disabilities an opportunity to experience acceptance and understanding through supportive peer relationships. Further research implications and an overview of the roles that school psychologists can take in response to this issue are also discussed.
