The goals of consultation are improved academic and behavioral outcomes for students and enhanced skills and confidence for teachers and parents. This presentation will address how to implement consultation that bridges the gap between academic models of consultation and real world practice. Attendees will learn to dismantle real and perceived barriers to consultation, explore the critical components of consultation, including targeting behaviors, data collection, and progress evaluation, and incorporate these into their practice.
