This presentation will provide a conceptual overview of the Response to Intervention (RTI) model and how RTI leads to proper identification of students with Specific Learning Disability (SLD). In addition, this presentation will convey how RTI might operate within a school setting, particularly with reading instruction and support. It will provide insight into the influential role that school psychologists have in the implementation process, and serve as a reference for future research.
