This presentation will present findings from a mixed method study with first-year and veteran school psychologists to delineate effective strategies that they use and recommend during their first years of practice. Both professional and personal strategies are collected in this study to provide a more comprehensive view of how new school psychologists manage to thrive despite stress and pressure in the early stages of their career.
